Our Course of the Week feature continues this week in Atlantic Canada in the province of New Brunswick. Situated in Fredericton, NB, Kingswood Golf Course was designed by one of the top Canadian firm in Cooke Huxham International. Like many other courses in Canada, the design takes advantage of its natural surroundings, providing an arrays of panorama views! This is capped off by the signature 14th hole, where a 30 foot waterfall will leave golfers in awe!
In addition to Kingswood’s 18-hole signature course and its 9-hole executive course, the facility also provides a 375-yard practice range and a 17,000 square foot putting green. With the combination of a beautiful golf course and its playability, Kingswood Signature Course has accumulated many accolades. In 2003, Golf Digest recognized Kingswood Golf Course as Canada’s Best New Course and in 2004, it followed up with an award from Travel & Leisure as one of the Top International Openings! Kingswood was also named by Golf Digest as one of the Top 100 Courses in the World outside the United States in 2005 and most recently “Best Places to Play” in 2008. With so much recognition, it’s difficult to pass up a round of golf at Kingswood Golf Course if you are in the area!
