The 2013 BMW Championship is held at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Illinois. Being the third event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs and in nearby Chicago, the BMW Championship invited a few big names from the Chicago area to promote the event! Luke Donald, fellow Tour Pro Mark Wilson, Chicago Bulls’ Kirk Hinrich and new Northwestern men’s basketball coach Chris Collins got together a few weeks ago to play in a nine-hole skins event, benefiting the Evans Scholars charity foundation.
Despite being more than a year away, the 2014 BMW Championship at Cherry Hills in Denver, CO has already started their own promotion and brought their own big hitters to the plate! Denver Bronco’s stars John Elway, Peyton Manning, John Lynch and Chauncey Billups all make an appearance in this promotional video as they all go through “Husher School!” We guess it’s never too early to prepare as the hype surrounding this tournament is building up. It will mark the first time since the 1985 PGA Championship that Tour players will compete at Cherry Hills! But let’s get the 2013 BMW Championship over with first!
