For hockey fans out there, we are all aware that the Finnish Flash Teemu Selanne has been pondering retirement the last few years. At the age of 43, Teemu feels that it helps him keep motivated for the season if he plays on a year to year basis! On Friday, Teemu announced his return to the Anaheim Ducks for one more year in a hilarious video!
Golf is often associated with retirement and in the video, filmed with the Ducks’ PR crew, Teemu realizes that golf is not that easy and decides to delay his frustration on the course for one more year in the rink! The most impressive about this is, according to Ducks’ PR guru Alex Gilchrist, Teemu was the one who wrote the script for his announcement video! If only more athletes were as creative as Teemu in their announcements!
