Fox Sports 1 is a new 24 hour sports network that made its debut recently. The network made big news when it was announced that the Fox Network and Fox Sports 1 signed a 12-year deal with the USGA for domestic broadcasting rights for the U.S. Open and other USGA Championships! The deal is rumoured to be worth in the neighbourhood of $100 million over 12 years and it will commence in 2015 with the US Open at Chambers Bay!
With a new network comes new shows and last night, Rickie Fowler made his debut on the Fox Sports 1 Network as he made a guest appearence on a mini-game show “Reach for the Star” on Crowd Goes Wild! In this mini-game show, Rickie was frisked by two other guests (Regis Philbin and Terrell Owens) who were blindfolded. The goal of this game is to have the blindfolded guests identify Rickie by way of touch! It seems kind of weird to us but at the same time, it’s kind of entertaining! Later on, Rickie sat down for a more “normal” segment in “Questions Out of Left Field.” Some of the questions were indeed out of “left field” but there are some questions you definitely don’t want to miss as well!
