Tiger Woods: Majorless in 2013

Tiger Woods had a pretty good 2013 season – he has returned to being the world’s number one golfer, has won five times and is currently leading the FedEx Cup points race! But as we all know, Tiger measures his success (as well as many other golfers) by the amount of Major championships he wins, and unfortunately, he still hasn’t broken his drought in the Majors this season. Since his 2008 US Open victory at Torrey Pines in a playoff over Rocco Mediate, Tiger has gone 0-for-18 and has been winless in Major championships. He has contended though, which is a positive sign, but he just can’t seem to put it all together yet. Perhaps the pressure of matching Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18 majors is proving to be too much for him, but only time will tell. He has played well leading up to this year’s Major championships though and has been one of the favourites going in to every tournament this year. Hopefully he’ll be able to put it all together soon – and we’re sure he’ll be the favourite at Augusta next year!
