We’ve featured golf apps before, including the PGA TOURCaddie, which is basically a GPS-based, course management, scoring and golf instruction application. GAME GOLF, backed by Graeme McDowell, takes golf app technology a step further. GAME GOLF will not only capture a golfer’s round and give a visual representation of the round, but it will also calculate a variety of statistics to give the user insights into their game such as club usage, fairways hit, greens in regulation, distances and more. The cool thing is that the user can enable other golfers to view their games and creates a social media component where rounds can be shared, compared to others and used as a competition with friends or colleagues across the country and around the world!
Graeme McDowell is becoming somewhat of a businessman outside of being a touring pro – first his restaurant, Nona Blue, and now he’s getting involved with app development! We wonder what he has next up his sleeves!
