In the last and final edition of “Prepare for The Open with Ian Poulter,” Poults discusses the feeling of playing on a Sunday at the Open Championship. The goal for the day is to “get your name etched in history” and get over that big hurdle by posting a good number. This requires a player to be gutsy and strong in order to put yourself in a position to have a chance in the back 9! Poults certainly did that today at Muirfield when he posted a string of an eagle and three straight birdies from hole 9 to 12! Unfortunately, it was not enough as Phil Mickelson pulled away from the pack by shooting 5-under 66 to finish at 3-under!
