We’ve already featured two great golf courses in Quebec this week – Le Diable (or The Devil) and La Bête (or The Beast). This week, we’re featuring the Royal Laurentien Golf Course, ranked as the 65th best golf course in Canada and the 10th best in Quebec in 1997 by Canada’s golf Ranking Magazine. In 2001, the course was awarded a silver medal for “Hotel Golf Course of the Year” by Golf International magazine. Designed and built by Gabriel Ménard, the golf course is set in a mountainous setting with over 90 sand traps and ponds present on 15 holes. There are numerous elevation changes and a 600-yard hole (the 12th!). Playing here will definitely be a very scenic round of golf as you surround yourself with wide fairways, wooded areas, brooks, flowers, waterfalls and breathtaking panoramic views.
Similar to Le Diable and La Bete, Royal Laurentien is also located in the Tremblant region and offers more than just golf. During the summers, beach and pool activities are available as well as relaxation spas. In the winter, snowmobile and helicopter tours are also available – definitely a resort that offers fun all-year round!
