It has been a season of feast or famine for Graeme McDowell this year so far. In his last 8 starts, G-Mac has missed the cut 5 times but has won his other 3 starts, making him the only player other than Tiger Woods to have won 3 or more times in 2013! Even after winning the 2010 US Open at Pebble Beach, Gmac is not satisfied and is looking to win more Major Championships. He is feeling good about his game and as he states in the two videos, Gmac’s life balance off the course, especially with his new restaurant Nona Blue, has him in a great place mentally and physically! Despite missing the cut in the first two majors of 2013, perhaps his feast or famine streak will work out in his favour this week at the Open Championship at Muirfield!
But Graeme will not be without some stiff competition. In this year’s first two major, droughts were broken as Adam Scott became the first Australian to win the Masters while Justin Rose ended a 43 year skid for the Brits when he won his first Major Championship at the US Open! There are many players who are definitely capable of winning their first Major this week at Muirfield, such as Luke Donald, Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, Jason Day and Sergio Garcia.
