During the Pro-Am of the 2013 Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, a few of the Pros in the field attempted something that I’m sure we’ve all tried in the past. Phil Mickelson, Paul Lawrie, Nicolas Colsaerts and other European Tour golfers try doing the famous “Happy Gilmore” golf shot! We only wish we saw the ball flight and where the ball ended up! In case you’re not familiar with Happy Gilmore, it’s a golf movie starring Adam Sandler and was even filmed at some of the local golf courses we’ve played in Vancouver (Furry Creek and Swan-e-Set) – even Lee Trevino makes a cameo!
