Bert LaMar came from a family of designers, with his mother and maternal grandmother having experience in the fashion and sewing industry while Bert’s father had a background in product and plastic design! It was only natural for Bert to follow in their footsteps but his journey to finding Iliac Golf may not be what you think!
Long story short, Bert started accumulating experience in the design industry through his design of skateboards and snowboards early on in his career. Having found success in the skateboarding and snowboarding industry, Bert decided to pursue his third passion of golf after seeing the Masters on TV! His passion for design and work ethic continues to drive him to create for golf’s elite and with Iliac Golf, Bert aims to create “something unique, something special, something not available everywhere, something ready to meet the demands fueled by your passion, real core golf with roots to the past and arms in the future!” Take a more extensive look at Bert’s story on Iliac’s website!
