Had a fantastic week in France. A super tournament on a super course (European Tour). Thanks for all the support

Both the Greenbrier and the Open de France took place this past weekend and were great tournaments to watch. At the Open de France, Graeme McDowell found himself tied with Richard Sterne of South Africa in the final round and made two of his five birdies on the back-9 to shoot a 4-under 67 on Sunday to capture his ninth European Tour title. Sterne, however, made three birdies on the front nine before carding three bogeys after the turn to hit a 71 and finish runner-up. Having a win before the British Open Championship next week at Muirfield will definitely be a confidence booster for McDowell, who is now only the second player to have three or more victories this season (the other being Tiger Woods).
This is McDowell’s third victory in his last eight worldwide starts and since the Open de France, he’s risen from ninth to sixth in the latest Official Golf World Rankings (his highest position since he was fifth in May 2011). McDowell has been a streaky player since the Masters in April, going MC-Won-MC-Won-MC-MC-MC-Won. Hear from McDowell in the video above!
