Inbee Park of South Korea made history this past weekend at Sebonack Golf Club in New York by winning the US Women’s Open by four-strokes, finishing at 8-under par (280) and her second U.S. Women’s Open. She joins Babe Zaharias as the only players in LPGA history to win the first three major championships of the same season – her eyes are now set on the Ricoh Women’s British Open on August 1 – 4 at the home of golf, the Old Course at St. Andrews, to try and capture a Grand Slam! Park won the Kraft Nabisco Championship in April and the Wegmans LPGA Championship in June.
Like Justin Rose after he won the US Open at Merion (Today Show, Morning Joe, Letterman), Park also joined NBC’s “Today Show” on Monday morning to discuss her historic win at Sebonack – take a look at her interview above!
