Tiger Woods’ Slump at the Majors

tiger_majorslump01

Another major goes by and Tiger once again leaves the tournament empty handed. It has been 5 long years since Tiger won the US Open at Torrey Pines on one leg and everyone is wondering if Tiger will ever win a Major Championship again. Today, Rick Reilly of ESPN takes a look at Tiger’s legacy up to date and ponders how he will be viewed if he was to never win another Major again.

However, Monte Burke of Forbes Magazine believes that despite the slump, Tiger can still beat his life long goal of surpassing Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18 Majors! Below are a list of golf courses for the Major Championships in the coming years and as you can see, Tiger played well at quite a few of those venues! And we all know how Tiger likes to pick and choose the tournaments he plays in based on his fondness of the golf courses. Missing on the list below is of course the first Major of every year, the Masters at Augusta National. Tiger has always played well there, winning the Masters four times and since his last victory at Augusta in 2005, Tiger has finished out of the Top 6 only once! We tend to think Tiger will achieve his goal sooner or later. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below!
