ESPN Golf sat down with Tiger Woods for a Sunday Conversation ahead of the US Open. But yesterday, Tom Rinaldi joined the 113th US Open Champion, Justin Rose, to discuss his first Major championship win, his father and what it all means to him. Over the tournament, Rose shot 71-69-70-71 to finish and win the tournament with a score of 1-over par. With this win, he becomes the first Englishman to win a Major since Nick Faldo in the 1996 Masters and also the first Englishman to win the US Open since Tony Jacklin in 1970. The first two Majors of the year have seen two first time winners (Adam Scott at the Masters) – players who have taken their names off the list of “Greatest Players Without a Major.”
