A few days ago, we featured Webb Simpson and his signature shots to win the US Open last year at Olympic Club in San Francisco. Today, we take a look back at how Webb broke through for his first PGA Tour win back in 2011 in his home state of North Carolina at the Wyndham Championships! Webb also reflects on his first Major Championship win last year in the video above!
However, even with his new found fame, Webb remains committed to charity work and making a difference in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. In the videos below, PGA tour follows Webb as he participates in the “Bed for Kids” program, which provide kids with beds and essential furniture items to children and families in need in Charlotte. Izod also gave Webb a shot at a $100,000 donation for the “Bed for Kids” program if Webb can hit a 100 yards shot in the “O” in Izod! Does he make it? Watch the videos to find out!
