Its top-of-the-line “five star” series will go for as much as $75,000! For that price, many things can be had but what makes these Honma clubs so expensive? As Honma describes, these golf clubs are a work of “artisans” and there are more than 100 craftsman involved in the process of making these clubs!

The detailed craftsmanship of the Honma golf clubs is most likely the main reason for the high prices of these clubs. The 8-week manufacturing process of the clubs can be found on Honma’s website. However, these clubs are also decorated with platinum and 24-karat gold! That will definitely add cost to the clubs but it achieves the goal of founder Hiro Honma, who was aiming to manufacture golf clubs that reflects a certain degree of grace and elegance without giving up anything in the performance of the clubs. Well-known owners of the Honma “five star” series golf clubs include Donald Trump, Danny DeVito, Jack Nicholson and Marc Anthony. But none of them shelled out as much money for a set of golf clubs as Arnold Schwarzenegger, who paid a whopping $772,500 for former President JFK’s golf clubs!
