The 2013 Masters

The Masters

The Masters at Augusta National is less than a week away and with all of Bubba’s recent outings, he still had the chance to tweet out his 2013 Masters Players’ Badge! Of course it’s Badge number 1 as Bubba is the defending champ! The Patrons’ Badge was also released and it’s definitely a hot ticket, if you can get your hands on it!

According to a recent article, the minimum that one would expect to pay for a single-day pass for the Masters would be $1,215 USD. To compare, you would be able to purchase a single-day pass for the U.S. Open for $182 to $295, depending on the round that you go to. Even practice rounds at the Masters don’t come cheap as tickets for Monday’s practice round is around $403. Tuesday gets more expensive and runs up to $529 and with the Par-3 competition on Wednesday, tickets go up to $1,118!

For the price of $1,118, it’s actually a few hundred dollars more than a four-day pass to the PGA Championship! And if you are wondering how much a four-day pass cost for the Masters, it’s a “whopping $4,486!” The pricing for the Masters are ridiculously expensive but if we are ever fortunate to set foot on Augusta National during the Masters, we are sure that it will be worth every penny!
