Callaway Golf has had some great success and raving results from the X-Hot line of clubs this season already, especially with the fairway woods. However, the company is preparing to launch another option in the line called the X-Hot 3 Deep, which will offer a different playability compared to the original.
The X-Hot 3 Deep fairways were derived from Tour players’ desire for a deeper-faced 3 wood, featuring a 10% taller face than the X-Hot Pro and raising the center of gravity (CG) for those who impact higher on the face. This is a club that Phil Mickelson has been playing for several tournaments now and it’s just amazing to see how this club can influence his decision off the tee so greatly (hitting less drivers). The X-Hot 3 Deep fairways will be available in April and will be offered in 13* and 14.5* for right handed golfers and 13* for left handed golfers. Standard shaft is the Project X Velocity shaft and the length is 43.5″. With a 13* loft, it almost seems to be like a mini-driver!
