Fairmont is better known for their hotels than anything else but as we have featured before, their golf resorts are top notch as well! Golf courses such as a Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course and the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Resort are ideal for your next golf vacation! However, the climate may be a bit too cold right now but it isn’t in Bermuda! The Fairmont Southampton is home to some spectacular golf and from March 22-24, 2013, it will play host to the Bacardi World Par-3 Championship 2013.
The Bacardi World Par-3 Championship was first launched in 2010 and this year, it will take place at Turtle Hill Golf Club at Fairmont Southampton Bermuda. According to Fairmont Golf, Turtle Hill Golf Club is ranked in the top five best par 3 golf courses in the world! This makes it a great venue to test golfers of all handicaps in their short game and skill level. In today’s golf game, distance and strength dominates golf and it’s refreshing to see a tournament that levels the playing field “between young and old, men and women, and even professionals and amateurs!” It may be too late to enter the tournament this year but keep yourself updated with Fairmont Southampton for next year’s tourney!
