Perhaps one of the biggest story this past off season was world number 1 golfer, Rory McIlroy, leaving Team Titleist for Team Nike. However, Team Titleist is still stacked with top players in the world, headlined by Adam Scott as well as other Titleist Brand Ambassadors Scott Piercy, Zach Johnson, and Matteo Manassero.
This week at the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral, Team Titleist brings us inside the ropes with their video (shown above) and gives us a sneak peek into the action at Doral with a few of their Brand Ambassadors. And as they remind us, Titleist still have a strangle hold on the golf ball market, with 37 players in the field of 65 at Doral using a Pro V1 or Pro V1x. While at the Trump International Golf Course in Puerto Rico at the Puerto Rico Open, 87 competitors in the 132 player field are using the Pro V1 or Pro V1x! That’s quite the accomplishment by Titleist and if you missed it before, Titleist reinvented the Pro V1 golf ball this past off season!
