Today is the premiere of two widely anticipated shows. The Haney Project with Michael Phelps and now in it’s third season, the Feherty Show! The first episode of this season’s Haney Project revisited Phelps’ Olympic career and record 22 Olympic Medals. The show also told us of Phelps’ and Haney’s first meeting and how their golf relationship developed into The Haney Project. Right after The Haney Project with Michael Phelps was the season premiere of The Feherty Show featuring Jack Nicklaus. The one hour episode was spent interviewing and talking to the Golden Bear about life, his past tournaments and more at his home and on the water! Hope you all had a chance to catch at least one of these two shows, but if you missed it, be sure to check the Golf Channel for re-runs! Yesterday was also the finale of the snow-delayed and cold WGC Accenture Matchplay tournament. In the final match, Matt Kuchar defeated defending champion Hunter Mahan 2 & 1. It was a disappointing tournament for many golf fans with a lot of upsets and many of golf’s top ranked players making an early exit. However, golf fans don’t have to wait long to see the likes of Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods again – they are set to play the Honda Classic, the first tournament of the Florida Swing, this week where Rory hopes to play better and defend his title.
