After the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show and the recent Japan Golf Fair, we thought we’d feature some more equipment and brands from the shows. Scratch Golf was founded in 2003 and was formed to fill a void in the golf market. Since then, they have grown to be a highly recognized golf company. They were the first to make custom wedges one at a time to fit the individual player and even fit the proper wedges to the players swing. Spending a year on R&D and real world player testing, they perfected a grind fitting system that fits their three identified swing types: the Sweeper/Slide; Driver/Slider or Digger/Driver.
Since Scratch Golf’s founding, the company has had many tour players use their equipment with great success. This year, Scratch Golf wedges and irons are in play on every major professional tour worldwide, including the PGA, Champions, Nationwide, LPGA, Futures, Hooters, Tarheel, European PGA, European Challenge and European LPGA Tours.
