We briefly talked about the Japan Golf Show in our post yesterday. Today was the second day (Japan time) of the Japan Golf Fair, which is being held at Tokyo Big Site in Tokyo. We showed some photos of Nike Golf Japan, Taylormade Japan and Yonex and their booths. They, as well as many other equipment companies, are introducing their new equipment for the year, as well as their Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) equipment at this fair. Tom Watson was also present, promoting Adams new lineup for this year.
Taylormade Japan introduced the new R1 driver as well as the new Rocketballz Stage 2 clubs. Their booth was separated into 3 areas, one for the R1, another for Rocketballz and a third for their premium Japan line, the Gloire, which features all forged irons and drivers as well as the new carbon faced Gloire Reserve driver which we’ll feature in a few weeks!
Honma, TourStage/Bridgestone, Auschnet Japan (Titleist and Footjoy) also had booths at the fair. Callaway Japan is also there, focusing on promoting their new X Hot line of golf clubs, including the forged cup face fairway woods which they call the “300 yard spoon” for newly signed tour player, Ryo Ishikawa. Mizuno Golf also has a booth and has released their MP-S line of golf balls. These will also make their way to Europe this year! Stay tuned as we bring you more on the Japan Golf Fair 2013.
