The 16th hole at the Waste Management Phoenix Open is known to be one of the funnest and loudest golf holes on tour – playing well during this hole will be sure to get your cheers! But play it poorly and you’ll be sure to hear about it – Michael Phelps played the pro-am and landed his tee shot on the green, only to have it roll backwards and off, leading to many boos!
James Hahn ended up playing the hole well and hit a long birdie putt today and to celebrate, he showed off his “GangHahn Style” dancing skills! There should be an award just for his dance! A bit of a background on Hahn, he played his collegiate golf at UC Berkeley but failed to make it onto the PGA Tour. He went to work with an advertising agency, earned his real estate license and then sold shoes for six months at Nordstrom before using the money he saved to try to get back on tour – and he did so by finishing fifth on the Web.com money list last year!
