A new chapter in Rory McIlroy’s golfing career is set to begin tonight as he prepares to tee off in the 2013 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship with Tiger Woods and Martin Kaymer. From now on, he will be representing the Swoosh and Team Nike! There’s been a lot of changes the past year for Rory and above is a great interview/documentary that captures a lot of it.
Last week, we brought you a preview of BBC’s interview and documentary on current world number one, Rory McIlroy. In this post, we bring you the full 30-minute interview where he talks about his 2012 season, the success he’s had on the golf course and his rise to the top of the world rankings as well as some of the more nervous moments during the season.
This interview was first aired on January 3rd. Since the airing date, he has been officially announced as a member of Nike Golf and a member of Team Nike. He’s completely overhauled his bag, playing all Nike equipment and sporting all Nike gear for the 2013 season. We can’t wait to see how his 2013 season will turn out!
