Mizuno Yoro Japan Crafted: Part 6

Part 6 of our Mizuno Yoro Japan Crafted series takes a look at some of the cosmetic finishing of Yoro Japan Crafted golf clubs. After the “plating” and “sandblasting” processes are completed, Mizuno Technicians then start to look at logo stamping on the back of the club head. These logos can be deleted, moved around and put into any combination you want in any specified color by the customer. Custom stamping is also available for customers in a color of their choice. All of this is again, done by hand and takes a lot of time and effort to ensure perfection for each club head.

After the stamping and logo insertion is complete, the club heads are once again checked for the accuracy of their finishing. There are a number of test procedures that detect errors or defects in weight, appearance, lie and loft – these are run several times until the adjustments are made to perfect everything, however, it is very unlikely that defects will be found at this point. Below are two great video that shows the concentration of a Mizuno Technician performing these checks and test procedures.
