We’ve featured two Shots of the Year videos by Team Titleist so far, one featuring Rickie Fowler and another featuring Jason Dufner. In this post, Team Titleist brings us Louis Oosthuizen’s Shot of the year – can you guess which shot made it into the video?
Of course it could be the second hole double eagle at the final round of the 2012 Masters tournament at Augusta National Golf Club! Oosthuizen drove his Pro V1x down the fairway on the par 5, second hole. With a bit of a downhill lie, he had about 265 yards to the green. He was considering either a hard 3-iron or a smooth 4-iron. He chose his 4-iron to get it to the front of the green and allowed the undulations to do the rest! Supposedly, the odds of scoring a double eagle range from 1 million-to-1 to 6 million-to-1. Either way, it was a great shot to see! Check out the video above and watch while Oosthuizen describes what was going through his mind as he hit this historic shot.
