Course of the Week: Cottlesloe Golf Club

Cottlesloe Golf Club is situated on the west coast of Australia in Swanbourne and is the first private golf club that we have featured here on Eighteen Under Par.  It is an 18 hole course that rates among the top golf courses in Australia.  Because it is a private golf club, guests need to be invited by a member to play, unless they are visiting from overseas, in which case they may be introduced by the General Manager.  However, even guests need to be affiliated with a recognized golf club or association with a current membership identification card of letter of introduction to be able to play at Cottlesloe.

Cottesloe Golf Club was formed in 1908,and moved to it’s present site in Swanbourne, north of Perth, in 1931.  There is a lot of history here at this course.  It occupies an area of Swanbourne with rolling hills and some of the most beautiful views available on the west coast of Australia.  Like most of the courses we feature, it provides a great challenge and a lot of fun undulations.
