Mizuno Golf Japan has recently introduced some new and updated products throughout their equipment, as well as warning potential consumers of knock-off products, especially of Mizuno irons. The first two photos above show the Mizuno MP-59 irons – both real and fake. You can tell right away which is the real iron and which is the knock-off – the shape and position of the Titanium muscle is completely different on the knock-off. Unfortunately, this is something that is happening in the golf industry, so be careful when purchasing equipment online! Make sure you purchase from reputable retailers and if the deal is too good to be true, it probably is!
Aside from this though, Mizuno Golf Japan has also introduced six new colorways of their lightweight MP-style golf shoes. We also introduced some of Mizuno Golf Japan’s 2013 caddy bags in a previous post, but this time, they are introducing new colorways of previous years model of caddy bags, as seen above. The new colorways are black/silver, black/gold and black/purple. Furthermore, to celebrate Luke Donald’s victory at the Dunlop Phoenix Open in Japan a few weeks ago, Mizuno Golf Japan is also launching, in limited quantities, the exact same caddy bag model of Luke Donald, down to the last detail of name, flag and sponsorship!
Finally, on December 20th, Mizuno Golf Japan will release their “Bio Plus Lock/Double Grip” golf glove. There is a “double inner grip” and “silicon processing print” built into the glove, providing a higher degree of adhesion and to reduce movement and displacement of your hands on the club at impact and throughout the swing. The silicon grip also reduces slippage in rain or sweat. The combination of these two technologies, as shown above in the photos, increases the sense of unity and fit between the hand and glove – it gives a sense of intimate contact with a natural fit.
