Course of the Week: Jack’s Point Golf Course

This week, our Course of the Week is located in Queensland, New Zealand at Jack’s Point Golf Course. The 18-hole, par 72 course offers a scenic backdrop of the Remarkables Mountain Range (yes, it really is called the Remarkables!). Like most courses we’ve featured, Jack’s Point integrates itself into the landscape, working with nature and not against it. In addition to the Remarkables, Jack’s Point Golf Course weaves through grasslands, rock formations, steep bluffs and acres of native bush on the edge of Lake Wakatipu. From the championship tees, the course plays 6906 yards and will definitely provide a great, scenic challenge for players of all levels.

The centerpiece of the golf course and Jack’s Point community is the Clubhouse – all the essential amenities of the golf shop, restaurant, bar and deli are all within the elegant building. The clubhouse pays tribute to the local architecture, especially the simple farm building design. The rawness of the materials used in the clubhouse reflect the rugged surroundings, again, working with nature.

In addition to the championship golf course, Jack’s Point also offers a full residential community which takes advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Check out the link below!
