A few weeks ago, we introduced Big Sky Golf & Country Club in Pemberton, British Columbia, as our Course of the Week. This beautiful course is located at the base of Mount Currie, just 25 minutes north of the world class ski resort, Whistler. As we mentioned, Big Sky was rated 4 ½ stars by Golf Digest and rated the Best Public & Resort Course in BC. What we didn’t mention was Big Sky’s 19th hole, which “guarantees the longest drive of your life!”
Partnered with Blackcomb Aviation in Whistler, Big Sky offers a package where it includes a helicopter trip to the top of beautiful Mount Currie for your own personal driving range. Upon finishing your mile-high range session, you will return to Big Sky Golf & Country Club via helicopter for 18 holes of golf! Although the pricing is not exactly the most economical, the 19th hole definitely offers an experience of a lifetime, perfect for a bachelor party or other special occasions!
