As we get closer to the Ryder Cup, news about the anticipation and excitement from the players and fans alike are making headlines. On Tuesday, it was announced by Team USA captain, Davis Love III, that the great Michael Jordan will be made an honorary team member at the 2012 Ryder Cup.
Twitter has also been blowing up with feeds from the players themselves as the team and their families start gathering in Chicago for the big showdown. David Feherty, who is originally from Northern Ireland, has also pledged his allegiance to….the United States?! Regardless of who you support, one thing’s for sure, if you’re a golf fan, you can’t wait until the Ryder Cup begins!
