Sunday was the conclusion of the 2012 BMW Championship at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana. Coverage of the tournament repeatedly mentioned the great turnout for the tournament and boy, were they treated to a show. Rory McIlroy won in convincing fashion as he fended off the likes of Tiger Woods, Lee Westwood, Vijay Singh and Phil Mickelson in today’s final round. We don’t dare say that the Tiger Woods’ era is over but having won 3 of his last 4 starts, the era of Rory McIlroy is definitely here!
