Davis Love III just made his four captain’s picks this morning in New York City, NY. With the length of Medinah Country Club and his consistent play over the last couple of weeks, Love’s first pick was Dustin Johnson. Making the Ryder Cup team was on his mind all week at the Deutsche Bank Championship and playing so well after three months of injury is a great accomplishment.
Love’s second pick was Jim Furyk, adding some more experience to the team. Next was Brandt Snedeker, who Love believes has been the most consistent player since the British Open. And last, but not least, Steve Stricker was chosen as the last captain’s pick.
These picks were in no particular order other than height, according to Love!
