Sergio Garcia has decided to withdraw from this week’s Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston (round 2 of the PGA Tour Playoffs for the Fedex Cup) to rest for the Ryder Cup…. And by resting, he meant play some tennis with Daniela Hantuchova at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.! Garcia is coming off two great weeks of play, winning at the Wyndham Championship two weeks ago, and finishing tied for third last week at the Barclay’s.
Garcia is known to love tennis, but spent most of the time picking up stray tennis balls, although he and Hantuchova did exchange some forehands and backhands!
