Adidas Golf announced today, at the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral, that they will be partnering up with USA Golf as the official uniform provider for the athletes, coaches and staff of USA Golf. USA Golf is the governing body that will select and manage the USA Golf team for the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
Adidas Golf is an industry leader in innovation, technology and performance footwear and apparel – they’ve debuted their lightest golf shoe ever, the the AdiZero One earlier this year and recently introduced the new Pure 360 Golf Shoe with poured polyurethane (PU) technology. It will be exciting to see the USA Golf-branded line of apparel and uniforms which will be developed in 2015 and unveiled in 2016 – hopefully they will have some inspiration from Adidas Golf Style Japan. It will also be interesting to see how players with other sponsor commitments react to this news – maybe it’ll be the only time we see Tiger Woods wearing Adidas!
