Adidas is bringing their adizero lightweight technology into the world of golf footwear. This week, Adidas will be introducing their line of Adizero golf shoes at Torrey Pines and in Qatar. Other companies, like Nike Golf, have also introduced similar shoes that are lightweight, help golfers feel closer to the ground and feel as if they’re not wearing golf shoes at all. These companies, as well as many others, will also be showcasing their 2013 line of products at this year’s PGA Merchandise Show.
At the Farmer’s Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, Jason Day, Brandt Snedeker and Dustin Johnson will be wearing the new shoes and also took part in “gliding” to the event – to show that the shoes will just glide away because they’re so light?! Sergio Garcia will also be wearing and promoting the Adizeros at the Qatar Masters – his first appearance of the year. He actually “glided” and parachuted in to Doha Golf Club!
