Adams Golf New Idea Hybrid Irons

Adams Golf has always been known for their hybrid technology and offering equipment to help the high handicapper. Their New Idea Hybrid Irons with a revolutionary wraparound slot generates higher ball speeds and more forgiveness, especially on off-center shots. Their research over the years find that golfers typically hit the ball away from the center of the clubface (almost 80% of the time!). The average impact for a 15+ handicap golfer is about 1/2-inch towards the toe and this new wraparound slot will make those mis-hits better all across the clubface.

This new “Cut-Thru” sole slot design in the hybrids make ball speed and launch higher, adding extra distance on off-center shots. Since Adams Golf is a part of Taylormade Golf, you’re probably thinking that this sounds a lot like the Rocketballz and new Speedblade irons.

However, unlike the Speedblade irons, the slot in the New Hybrid Irons actually wrap-around the entire club, from the sole to the top of the golf in the hybrids. The benefit of this is that it expands the sweet spot for up to 44% more speed on off-center shots and 23% more speed on center shots compared to the previous Idea a12OS. Make sure to watch the video above and find out all about this new set of clubs that Adams Golf will be releasing on October 15, 2013! Estimated price is USD $699 for steel; $799 for graphite.
