It seems Rory McIlroy is not the only one to have changed sponsors this year as just before the Masters, Tokyo-based retailer Uniqlo, signed Adam Scott to a multi-year deal to become their Global Brand Ambassador! Sporting UK-based luxury clothing brand Aquascutum in his previous sponsorship deal, Adam made quite the change as Uniqlo is known for its economical value for as much as it is known for its modern and stylish clothing.
Adam is the first golfer to join the Uniqlo team as a Global Brand Ambassador. However, he joins the likes of top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic and Kei Nishikori, the world No. 16 from Japan, in sporting the Uniqlo brand during competition. Along with Djokovic and Nishikori, Adam is sure to aid the goals of Uniqlo in gaining additional brand exposure! Uniqlo sure hit the jackpot in gaining exposure when Adam became the first Australian to ever win the Masters at Augusta National! Who could forget Adam’s iconic celebration after winning the playoff against Angel Cabrera!
Adam’s outfits for the four days at the Masters are shown below and we’ll definitely be seeing more of Adam promoting the Uniqlo brand as Adam will take part in a range of promotional activities, including a global polo-shirt campaign starting later this month! We’ll be sure to check out what Adam will be wearing in the future. Now if there were only more Uniqlo stores in North America!
