This week, the PGA Tour returns to Bay Hill for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the house that “The King” Arnold Palmer built! However, the biggest news out of the Arnold Palmer Invitational may be that 8-time winner at Bay Hill, Tiger Woods, would be withdrawing from the tournament due to back spasms and lingering pain.
Despite losing Tiger Woods, the Arnold Palmer Invitation still features an elite field, with 20 of the top 30 in the FedEx Cup standings playing this weekend! The course is certain to test these players, with Bay Hill ranking as the eighth hardest course on Tour last year outside of the four Major Championships! In case you forgot, Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer has a long history together, including winning for the eighth time at Bay Hill last year, tying Sam Snead for the PGA TOUR all-time record at one event in the process.
