The RBC Canadian Open concluded today at the famed Glen Abbey Golf Club and what a finish it was. Dustin Johnson had a tough finish as he was tied for the lead after a birdie on the 16th but DJ drove his tee shot out of bounds on the 17th and hit the lip of a fairway bunker as well. That led him to a triple bogey and Brandt Snedeker was able to pull out the victory finishing at 16-under!
The story of the tournament though must be the new Father of the Year candidate, Hunter Mahan! Hunter was leading the tournament after the second round but withdrew upon learning that his wife, Kandi, had gone into labour. Their daughter, Zoe Olivia Mahan, was born early Sunday at 3:26am. Hunter has been playing exceptionally well this year and it could be due to him crushing his drives! But Brandt is definitely happy for Hunter, as he indicated on his Twitter shortly after his victory at Glen Abbey! Take a look at what’s in Brandt’s bag; who knew it was such a mixture!
