We’ve seen companies announce their new line of equipment for the 2014 golf seasons already including Cleveland Golf, Callaway Golf (Big Bertha and X2 Hot), Taylormade and Nike Golf. In this post, we feature the YONEX EZONE XP line of equipment, especially the driver which they call The Red Devil!
The EZONE XP driver has been designed to generate extra power from your natural swing and features their revolutionary Dual Tungsten Power (DTP) System to deliver ultimate power output. This system features Tungsten in both the grip and club head (205g) and works in conjunction with a lightweight shaft (55g – 58g) for explosive power breakthrough and minimal effort. Futhermore, the carbon composite head realizes lower weight within the club head and shifts the sweet spot to the centre of the face. A newly designed Sound Rib and stiff sole reduces vibration and creates a solid sound off the club face. Like many drivers in the market, this one also features adjustability with the YONEX Quick Adjust System to refine launch trajectory and club face angle through 8 settings.
Also offered in the EZONE XP line are fairway woods and hybrids, which feature the same carbon composite crown, sound rib design, lightweight shaft (EX300), dual tungsten power system and the quick adjust system. YONEX also offers EZONE XP irons, which feature the Tungsten Grip with a 4g heavier head and Double Undercut Cavity that increases the size of the sweetspot to maximize power, distance and forgiveness. And lastly, the EZONE XP putter which features a 20g heavier head that delivers a consistently true ball roll across greens of all speeds. The black finish definitely looks great with the red accents.
