Rory McIlroy is slowly becoming the face of golf as well as for Nike Golf. When Nike Golf held their Innovation Summit, Rory was the athlete who joined the event to talk about the new equipment for 2014. Since then, we’ve seen what’s in his golf bag a few times already in this video by the PGA TOUR, an interview ahead of the US Open at Pinehurst No. 2.
In the video above, Golf Monthly caught up with Rory at the new Nike Golf Performance Fitting Centre in Archerfield, UK to talk about what he has in the bag right now, particularly as he prepared for The Open Championship, which he won by two shots over this past weekend! Rory recorded rounds of 66, 66, 68 and 71 to join Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus as the only players to win three majors by the age of 25.
